Tim "TimBob" Acri
Tim hails from Philadelphia and landed in Covington after serving with the Navy. He's been a monumental force for CSHL ever since he came around. If something "HUGE" or "Awesome" needs to get done, the League counts on Tim. His leadership, construction & demolition skills, and RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING acumen have had IMMENSELY positive EFFECTS. Tim has served the League as Chief Operating Officer, AND board member, as well as Get 'er done'r at various times for most of the League's lifetime. He was drafted by the Shields in his first draft, has participated IN & led every Barstool sports Tournament, and dons some of the best outfits at events. With a crooked hat on, you can bet Tim is getting huge things done for the League & the City... all while smiling and having a good time.
Sunil "The Professor" Ketty
Though Sunil is from Pittsburgh, we still love him. There's a reason for that; the CSHL's Identity wouldn't be anything like what we have without him. Not only does Sunil take on design, marketing, and merchandise for the League like a second full-time job (O Yeah, he recently achieved tenure at NKU!), he goes above and beyond to create opportunities for the League and other Bubs to grow. He's had an enormous positive affect on everyone in the League and is still one of the friendliest people you'll meet. In the late hours of the night, you can bet he's got ballad rock playing in the earbuds while creating the next awesome logo, social post, website page, or merch piece. He's also at every event, helping everyone with everything, and making the League better. Sunil was originally drafted by the Mainstrasse Misfits, and has served in leadership positions for the League ever since he arrived.
Jason "J" Kleinhenz
Jason was born in NY and ended up in Covington in 2015. When asked if he wanted to start a street hockey league by Commish and Coach after slinging pucks on the back patio of Gypsy's one new years, he said: "hell yeah! As long as we do it for a reason". He'd recently retired from rugby and was looking to add value while building community, so he dove ALL IN. starting at the very beginning (like mission/vision/values/BY-LAWS/formation letters) then onto gmail & social media accounts and all the way up to structure, expansive legal docs, and relationships with the city and the center for great neighborhoods (with other bubs too), J did his best to make the League a "Real" thing. feeling good about where the League stood, he took a couple years off. He came back in '21 and stayed even more in the background - focusing on systems, income, and the ability to grow and last for a long time, he works mainly on digital assets like the CRM (contact/legal/paperwork management), digital automation, secondary websites, payment portals and revenue streams, reporting, leadership membership, and the like. He's a 3x champ with the Mainstrasse Misfits but had to retire due to medical reasons.
Jesse "Commish" Kleinhenz
Commish is also from NY and also landed in Covington in 2015. As GM at the Clubhouse, Gypsy's, he'd been getting solicited to turn hockey games on. Learning that some of his friends and reps were current, or former, hockey players, he grabbed a couple OF nets and put them on the patio at the bar. For fun, a few of them started slinging top cheddar at each other, having a blast, and dreaming of making a street hockey league. Teaming up with Coach, the idea was born and executed. He got all the stuff and invited people out to the first send. The CSHL was born. Early days, Jesse brought all the equipment, energy, and culture to the sends. The fire was hot. Growing into the League as we know it now, he focuses on sponsorships, partnerships, relationships, and event planning & coordinating. His passion for the League, game, community, and Bubs is felt any time you're around him. If not for Commish, the CSHL wouldn't exist, and he's done incredible work moving in forward. Finally, he was originally drafted to the Goats and then traded to the Devils.
Nick "WayWay" Waymeyer
The man of many nick-names is a man of any task - anytime there's something to be done for the League, Wayway steps up. Nick is a native of the area and a flavor scientist... no, for real. Since the very beginning, he's turned up and helped out for the League. He's served at a lot of different levels of leadership and, coordinated a lot of projects, assisted with anything & everything, made playlists for every tournament, and been to every community event. Nick has put in countless hours with and for CSHL. He represents, and promotes, the League to a T. Waymeyer was originally drafted by the Shields, which is fitting as he guards the League with his heart.
Kara "Mama" Acri
Kara Acri has been a cornerstone of the Covington Street Hockey League leadership and direction for years now. Recognized for her board presidency and early-days appearances in net, she has stamped a legacy of CSHL lore. Off the rink, she exemplifies positive community and entreprenurial spirit, embodying the true spirit of the CSHL. Fun fact: Kara is also a HOF field hockey player at her collegiate alma mater.
Chris "Candyman" Jenco
Chris Jenco's versatility and leadership have significantly impacted the Covington Street Hockey League. Excelling in multiple positions, Chris adapts seamlessly to the League's needs, bringing strategic thinking and dedication. He was on the patio of Gypsy's helping concieve CSHL back in 2018. Chris has served multiple Leadership positions, filmed and photographed hours and hours of content, driven income, and built key relationships and oportunities for the League. He's been pivotal to the CSHL development and has glued many great relationships. Chris was originally drafted by the Mainstrasse Misfits and was a 3x champ with them.
Jus "Cap" Patterson
Jus Patterson has been a key player in many memorable matches, but beyod that Jus was one of the first seven to SENDIT as CSHL - then, he took the leap to be one of the 3 to legally form the League back in 2018. Jus was an effective leader for the CSHL and served multiple board positions for years. Even though he's stepped back from leadership roles, you can bet that when he's around, he's helping out any way he can to improve the rink, parks, clean-ups, play, and volunteer events. Jus was drafted by the Shields in the first draft and captained the Club.
Kyle "Streethockey"
Streethockey was also one of the few on the Gypsy's patio back in 2018 taking slapshots in net with nothing more than a baseball glove and sunnys while dreaming up the League. Since then, he's been a force in bringing in key people to the League, building the rink, performing construction and maintenance, and volunteering. Kyle has been a key to getting physical work done for the CSHL and keeping great relationships. Street was originally drafted by the Mainstrasse Misfits and was a 3x champ with them.
Dave "Coach" Wellerding
Dave was one of the first seven and an absolute force-driver of hype and community building for the CSHL. In the first several years of the League, Coach was not only a positive player, but an absolute bueat of content, directing, leadership, mc-ing, and more. Dave brought everyone along with his high-octane positive energy, served multiple board positions, and attracted all kinds on people, relationships, and media. He was a key linchpin to building the League, community, and culture of the CSHL. Dave was originally drafted by the Mainstrasse Misfits and was a 3x champ with them.
