Covington Street Hockey League Competitive Play - SuperLeague

Facts:

Think "White men can't jump", pro beach hockey, And1 mixtape, ALL combined into a street hockey league"

  • 5 week regular season - play each team 1x

  • 2 weeks playoffs

  • 3 x 15 minute periods

  • Refs are off-ice

  • 8 on each team

  • The OG 6 Teams are back! AND they each have 2 sides!

  • You'll play the best of the best on the streets,

  • It is COMPETITIVE and tough

Stats:

  • 4 v 4 + Goalie format

  • 6 teams of 8 (2 sides each)

  • Teams are required to have matching uniforms (can determine after the draft) - reach out to Jason or Sunil if you want a hand

  • Refs supplied

Play:

  • Games are 3 periods with 15-minute running clock with a 5-minute warmup

  • Sundays at 6pm (tentative) first ball drop

  • 5 game season then seeding for playoffs and a championship

  • 1 face off to start games then take ball out of net

  • Community reffing

  • Penalty results in 4v3 for 1min 30s - someone in crowd w/ stopwatch (& score - if scoreboard is down)

  • Prize for the Champion team
